Oh since you like 10 win seasons.

USC in the last 25 years: 11 ten win seasons (4 outside the Carroll run)
Oregon in the last 25 years: 10 ten win seasons (4 outside the Kelly/Helfrich run)

SC wins by literally every possible metric, winning percentage, top 10 finishes, top 5 finishes, significant bowl wins, national championships, etc.

USC being a Mt Rushmore school can win a natty with a good (but not all time greats) coach- i.e., Pete Carroll. Oregon and UW are schools that need all the stars to align + HOF type of corch. Fortunately, USC has only made 1 good hire in the past 40 years and that was just dumb luck.
Pete Carroll was a great CFB coach
He lost to Vince Young in Los Angeles.
And besides that, every coach has losses that don't make sense. Nick Saban couldn't beat Hugh Freeze. Shit happens. Defining a coach by one loss is a good way to take Mike Riley over Pete Carroll.
There was some degree of sarcasm chintended in my poast. I could go either way on PC being in the "good" or "great" category and am not prepared to die on a hill over it.

He lost to Mack Brown in Los Angeles.
Fell so in love with the Bush/Leinart show they forgot about defense. Their D sucked that year and Texas, mainly Vince Young, embarrassed it. A supposed all time team who's defense full of 5* talent looked small and slow compared to a quarterback...a rare one but still.

    I agree...good not great.

Or just look at Fresno State putting up 42 in the coliseum a month prior.

Oregon was the most consistent program in the conference for 25 years, had one bad year, one rebuild year, and appear ready to get back into double digit win territory on a regular basis again. That's not grandeur, that's what serious football programs do.

    No natty. USC had 3

Pete had a tremendous seven year run. Outside of that USC has been pedestrian. They only had 1.5, btw.
Same as Oregon. USC's run was better. By a lot

    Bellotti was pedestrian
Belotti would be UW's second best coach since color TV. Sweetheart.

The football school of Los Angeles does better than a school in Eugene, Oregon?

    IS Coke greater than Pepsi?

    You're actually retarded.

A great Vincanity story. A guy I coach with coached against Vince in a playoff game in high school in Houston. Vince was so mentally inept they had to write the play down on a Post-it note and run it in to him so he could remember the play.

    Real life.

Oregon almost beat UW last year. If it wasn't for Pettis punt return and 4 other touchdowns the game would have went to the wire.

Oregon didn't almost beat UW. It was kind of shocking how well the Ducks ran the ball when UW was playing nine guys in the box though. It also shows how fucking awful Cal was losing to us when Herbie went out in the first quarter.

Maybe, but it wasn’t like what Pete does to Leavitt at will every time where we’re ripping off 15 yard gains for eventual tds all over the second half.

Oregon has scored 24. Total points. On UW. In 2 years.

For a team that "ran the ball well", you were one of the few that didn't get an early TD.

Yes. It was quite shocking how well you ran the ball on your way to getting skull fucked.
I didn't think skull fucking was possible without Lawler on the roster.

What is the general quookery this year?

That they are basically unstoppable as long as Herbert is healthy?

Last time I checked they lost to ASU when he was at full health and he only played against the shit teams anyway.

Getting whooped by the fuskies suck. Yes. 10 takeaways

If you take a moment to look at the film you’ll notice a few things.

    1. BB just isn’t ready for D1 football. He might have been a superstar in HS at their team’s level but as we know that rarely translates.
    2. Play calling – Suspect to say the least but then again… what do you call when you have to limit your playbook due to the orchestrator? There were several rollouts where we had WR’s wide open down the seams but he chose to throw the easy quick ball to the side line.
    3. Getting 100 yards on the ground when they know you are going to run it 80% of the time is pretty damn good.
    4. fuskies are fucked next year. Pettis will go pro, Browning will probably be gone. Gaskin of course gone. They will lose pretty much 100% of their offensive production from last night.
    5. Our recruiting classes are loaded with talent. It will only drive competition and build solid depth. You notice our D-line played pretty much the entire game without much rotation? Of course they were fucking exhausted.
    6. Playing catch up football in the rain is’t easy. Too many drops and snap fumbles.
    7. Our defense is looking really good. If they actually get a normal snap count and we have a serviceable QB on the field, I think we win last night.
    8. Remember coach petersen’s first two season? Not the greatest, building a team takes some time. We have to be patient.
    9. We still have two winnable game on the schedule – IF Justin plays. If not, then AZ is a tossup, Beavers alway might play up to make sure we don’t get a bowl. 7-5 is very possible still.
    10. Stop being bitches and crying about how shitty everything is. Yes, it sucks to loose but we are so spoiled it’s almost sad. Chin up! Kids are doing the best they can. We will get better. I have faith in Willie!

I like to say that the team that went to the CFP 2 years ago, shared the division title last year, and returns a boatload of key contributors on both of those teams is lucky to be on the same plane as the Ducks ... that’s how I like to Quook

    GTFO with that shit ...

Even if that was true (and it isn’t), you still have to account that the UW staff runs circles around the Oregon staff

What is UW's best win under Peterman? I'll give you a hint; it's super fucking unimpressive.
    you're equivocating

also 2016 stanford was huge. #7 vs #10. 10 win stanford team was assraped 44-6

    get fucked
The Cougs blowing the Trees out by 30 the next week at the Farm quickly wore the luster off of that win.

    But still!!
