This isn't about North Korea and South Korea. This has and always will be about the US and China. Talks were progressing until Kim Jung had a special meeting with Xi Jinping. Being North Korea's lifeline, if China asks North Korea to jump, North Korea will pull out a trampoline to impress them.
China wants to be the country to dictate the peace agreements, and they want the US shut out. I don't blame China at all. Just like we freaked out when Cuba had relations with Russia in the 60's, they don't want us to have any additional influence so close to their border. -
