NBA Playoff Megathread

I tried to watch basketball today. I really tried. Not my cup of tea. Went for a walk to get some perspective instead. Go Rockets!
P.S. Why don't they hit the guy when he is about to shoot? Seems dumb. -
-
Wildly entertaining game. I really think Houston has a legitimate shot at this (~40%). The NBA season has officially started.

Both teams REALLY want to WIN game 5

I've heard whoever wins two out of the next three wins this thing!CuntWaffle said:Both teams REALLY want to WIN game 5

Still waiting for the ECF to start.HorrifyinglyAlluring said:Wildly entertaining game. I really think Houston has a legitimate shot at this (~40%). The NBA season has officially started.

Im still in shock tbh. Rockets finally gooned it up a little bit and exposed the Hampton 5 for being as soft as they actually are. Game 5 will tell us if the Rockets have actually transformed, Ariza and Tucker at least give me some hope. This series comes down to who puts fewer pussies on the floor now.

My crystal ball shows Zaza making an appearance in the first quarter as the counter-goon. Six fouls in, say, 4 minutes.WilburHooksHands said:Im still in shock tbh. I like the road team in the final three games in both series.WilburHooksHands said:Im still in shock tbh. The Cavs will win tonight then take a night off back home then win Game 7
The Warriors and Rockets will continue to go every other game and that math favors the Warriors.
I am scared of Boston though. Pretty confident on the Warriors. Houston saved some reputations last night, Might be satisfied -
Thats what Im worried about. If they come out and win game 5 like that then we have to starting thinking about them actually pulling this off.RaceBannon said:

Iggy didn't play at all. Klay played like shit. Durant played like shit. Steph played ok, nothing special. Draymond was decidedly m'eh - 5 turnovers bad. Livingston and Swaggy P stunk.
Kerr was a dumbfuck several times - should have called a TO on their last possession and got a good look for anybody. All 5 Warriors were on the same side of the court and it took Ariza bear-hugging Thompson for the miss.
And STILL the Warriors had a chance to force overtime with .5 left.
All that won't happen again concurrently. Warriors by 15+ in Game 5.

Its almost like they struggled agaisnt an athletic team playing real defense.PurpleThrobber said:

if Houston wins game 5 then they have a shot at winning the series. If Golden State wins they will 100% win it.

Iggy is hurt. Klay is hurt. Steph is hurt. Durant is bitch. Nick Young stunk because Nick Young stinks. That is not changing for the rest of this series.PurpleThrobber said:

The Warriors had won 16 straight home playoff games, they had not lost at home in the playoffs since Durant signed there and the Rockets ended that.
Everyone agrees the Warriors should still win the series but this is a real challenge by the Rockets. -

I could have sworn that for years I’ve heard people minimize the impact that Iggy has on this team

It’s not much different than any other Cavs game, but they need LeBron to go off.
-
Nice. The playoffs just started. A little scuffle.
Refs will puss out and double T or eject someone. -
I think we're going to see 2 game sevens.
