    Dude, Olympia is a decent mid-size town. It's suffering now from what ills Seattle in that there's a growing vagrant population that inhabits parts of town, but if you take that away it's not a bad place at all. You have the capital campus, puget sound, lakes, decent employment base, some good restaurants ... not going to compare to an urban city but I ain't seeing the hate for Olympia.
