Exactly. Eifler didn't even start playing football until his sophomore year. He was never going to be a day one impact player despite his physical prowess. Too bad it didn't work out. We haven't seen much attrition in the Petersen era so this is a bit surprising. Even further hammers the point that you need to stack, stack and stack some more because there are no guarantees despite how good they look in high school, offers etc. On to Auburn...Dennis_DeYoung said:I blame his two white parents.

Thank God we got Kaho. He was probably way better then Eifler last year when he was in high school.

In all seriousness I was really hoping that kid would turn into something for us?. I know I was basing solely on his athleticism and impressive physique and not on his actual football skill. But I had hope he'd keep getting fed playing time this year and eventually develop and become a one of those guys that start putting it together RS Junior year and then kill it as a RS Senior. -
