What's going on at USC?

Simi Valley? Christian school? Are they dropping football?

According to Rivals, he had offers from Cincinnati, Colorado, Hawaii, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oregon State, UNLV, Utah and Washington State.
Wow
I wonder if he committed without an offer -

Ephesians 2:8-9 New King James Version (NKJV)
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Faith, Family, Football. -
Simi Valley didn’t bring Rodney King justice. Black eye for an LA institution IMO

And they took 7 LB’s last class. God I love Clay Helton.
-
but that's what USC loves about recruiting... as Helton gets older the true freshmen starting at USC always stay the saaaaammmmmmmmmmme age.pat_hm said:And they took 7 LB’s last class. God I love Clay Helton.

Yeah, never heard of this kid. I watched his film and he looks pretty good but doesn't look like the kind of kid the USC would offer this early in the recruiting cycle if at all.Neighbor2972 said:

USC won the conference last year and beat us at home the year before. Maybe the whole Faith, Family, Football thing is working. Or maybe this conference just sucks. Or maybe abundance?
For the record, I'm going with this conference SUCKS. -
But what about the USC soccer team?PurpleJ said:USC won the conference last year and beat us at home the year before. Maybe the whole Faith, Family, Football thing is working. Or maybe this conference just sucks. Or maybe abundance?

This is exactly the type of kid that USC eventually drops late in the recruiting cycle...

It is hold over talent from the "Dough, Blow, Hoes" era of USC.PurpleJ said:USC won the conference last year and beat us at home the year before. Maybe the whole Faith, Family, Football thing is working. Or maybe this conference just sucks. Or maybe abundance?

yep...expect him to tweet a de-commit from USC to open his options in December and then sign at San Jose State where gawd will have guided him.pat_hm said:This is exactly the type of kid that USC eventually drops late in the recruiting cycle...

And no offer for the best RB in the west in Austin Jones? Did I miss something or do they have a better RB recruit prospect in the bag?

They got another random one yesterday that they offered and then he committed right away.
They're probably just offering the kids so that other kids start looking at them so USC can then take the kids they really want like Ektard says. -

I wonder what 247 will rate him next week even though his talent-level didn't change.Neighbor2972 said: -
