Ah, the shocker. Fake Metal Band Steel Panther ( you can thank me later for turning you onto them ) have a song called "The Shocker" that pretty much explains the significance of the girl's hand position. http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/steelpanther/theshocker.html. Steel Panther is a highly produced 80s metal act that is absolutely right up the alley of the everyone on the forum. Oddly enough, they released one clean song to get radio airplay -- it sounded like an 80s metal song I never heard before but was awesome and then the rest of the album was about stuff like the shocker.
