Wilner had 5 takeaways from the Pac-12 Spring Games. Here is one:
DBs rule
The greatest concentration of talent in the conference lies in the defensive backfield, and I’m not sure it’s close.
Every team possesses at least one all-conference-caliber safety or cornerback.
Name them? Sure thing:
Arizona’s Jace Whittaker, Arizona State’s Chase Lucas, UCLA’s Darnay Holmes, USC’s Marvell Tell, Jack Jones and Iman Marshall, Cal’s Camryn Bynum, Stanford’s Alijah Holder, Utah’s Julian Blackmon, Colorado’s Evan Worthington, Oregon’s Ugo Amadi, Oregon State’s David Morris, Washington State’s Jalen Thompson and Washington’s everybody.

That's actually pretty funny. I have to admit, as much as Wilner hurts my inner doog during the season (and his poll votes aren't always defensible), I think he is pretty much the best beat writer on the West Coast.DoogCourics said:Wilner had 5 takeaways from the Pac-12 Spring Games. Here is one:

And yes, that is a Sark>Ty situation. -
Holy shit that’s an incredible stat. I know it’s a mix of scheme and sound assignment football, which is why Utah is right up there with UW.
But it’s also a fuck load of great secondary play.
In other news, sweet Jesus, the rest of the Pac-12 is God awful at containing explosive plays.
And for a water is wet finish, it’s hilarious how USC and UCLA were fucking horrendous. I guess talent can’t overcome blown assignments or lack of coaching and development.
Weird. -
And one of those was Saquan Barkley. We contained him on all but one play.DoogCourics said:

He gave up more than a few, so not worth a downvote. But Austin and Frodo gave up a LOT.WeakarmCobra said:

At least JoJo and Austin can hit downfield. Frodo can only make plays at or behind LOS... -
