It's part of a larger effort to root out perceived racism and sexism in the game. Which is sad! because offensive chants are part of the spectacle. Mexicans have been calling keepers puto for years. Especially American keepers in international matches.
Man U fans got in trouble for writing a song about their black striker's 24 inch penis (it rhymes with scoring genius). -
Sidenote: My Liverpool plays Roma tomorrow for a place in the Champions League final against two-time defending champ Real Madrid. Won the first game 5-2 at home, and Roma ultras started shit and almost beat a man to death. There were several arrests. Oh, and we are doing this after selling our best player to Barcelona in January. We have the leading scorer in Europe, Mohammed Salah. He is one goal away from setting the English league scoring record in his first season at the club.
