It didn't end up amounting to anything since you don't get any points for second place but the initial verbal was probably more predictive of Malloe's recruiting ability then the Nansen cock-up was.

Wright would be a big get not just because he is black and badass but because that would indicate Malloe's reach is greater than we knew. -
Are we sure his name is spelled correctly? It HAS to be Steven or Stephen. If we got a Stephon I wouldn’t know what’s real anymore.

In the Dawgman report he pretty much says "I am ready to commit, but I have to go see Colorado first."
I will admit I did not expect us to be even remotely relevant in his recruitment. Assuming he commits, I wonder if we take a 4th DL commit or if we are done by May with a class I really, really like.
I wonder if can we have USC steal a buck recruit from Malloe...? -

I think it's entirely possible that we want 4 DTs this year. Maybe not if we get Stephon Wright and then Jayden Jernigan wants to be the 4th DT, but, with a real shot on guys like Bandes and Ika, even Tuitele, I doubt they stop recruiting them. Just tell Michael Neal that Montana State has a TE spot for him and a find a scholarship.
I think 7 lineman this year or even 8 is probable. -

Blaming Malloe for Marlon has always been stupid. Marlon came on an official visit. He pledged his commitment to Pete during that visit. A couple days later Marlon flipped to USC.
It was fluky bullshit and Marlon not keeping his word, but you simpletons believe it’s all the position coaches fault. -
