It’s scary the brain washing that’s occurring. There is some hope though. We get some new young blood in my Department every 6 months or so. They’re all in training together for 5 weeks so they get close. None of these folks are magma cum laud, but are college grads of some sort. And sometimes they talk politics during free time. And the overwhelming majority are southpaws. But after they’ve been on the job a bit, it seems their views moderate. It’s a tough job and they’re overwhelmed the first 6 months but during that process, they get woke to the struggle of the workin wo(man) a little bit.dnc said:

Been moving away from funding wildlife and fishery research from university lab/M.S and Ph.D programs....to NGOs/Consultants/Resource agencies.
Not worth the headache for the low quality work...
