is btp our husky hoops liaison? can we get him som flair?
-
Since Chang was supposed to greyshirt, I wonder if he got his grades up and wants to try and see if he can qualify to enroll somewhere for 2018. If he can't, he can come back to us and greyshirt. Just a thought

My guess is grad transferbackthepack said:

I haven't been keeping up on the grad transfer market. I'll look at potential fits.Tequilla said:

Trey Porter, Justin Coleman, and Torin Smith are guys who I think we should go after. Personally I prefer Emmitt Matthews over everyone on the grad transfer market anyways.
-
We could likely use a grad transfer at any position otherwise we're going to be relying on a lot of freshman to come in and make a difference

Riley Sorn from Richland. He's 7-3 and considering either UW or St. Mary's.Edwin_Bambino said:@backthepack who is still out there we could use the schollie on?

We already have two centers in this class2001400ex said:

That's the problem, there aren't a whole lot of good grad transfers this year.Tequilla said:We could likely use a grad transfer at any position otherwise we're going to be relying on a lot of freshman to come in and make a difference

There is only one true Center for this place and he don't play basketball.dnc said:

Sorn is 7-3 but he's horrible and hasn't gotten any better in the last two years. Anton Watson threw down on him twice worse than this white boy:2001400ex said:

I was a pretty huge fag when I was 18 but the HS and college kids these days are taking it to the next level.Gladstone said:god's plan lol

With regards to Sorn, he's a clear redshirt candidate teams take a chance on, with the hope he matures physically, ie hits the weights, establishes solid post, shooting game, etc. If things don't work out, you sit him and get a transfer in a year or two. Very few teams play all 13 players on scholarship. Next year they will still have the opportunity to sign at least 4 players considering Thybulle, Dickerson, Green and Crisp will all be leaving. If Nowell has a break out season, expect a fifth, so picking up someone like Sorn isn't going to have a huge impact on the roster.

Any word on why Chang decommitted?

Grades and he's meh.2001400ex said:Any word on why Chang decommitted?

No. He's the basketball equivalent of Kyler Fucking Manu. He fucking sucks. He's uncoordinated, unskilled, soft, and unathletic white piece of shit. He's only good at being tall. We need developmental bigs like BPJ not a 7'3 white stiff from Richland.huskyhooligan said:With regards to Sorn, he's a clear redshirt candidate teams take a chance on, with the hope he matures physically, ie hits the weights, establishes solid post, shooting game, etc. If things don't work out, you sit him and get a transfer in a year or two. White people are worthless at basketball unless they can shoot.Tequilla said:

I had been of the understanding that Sorn would come here as a Walk-on. Emmett Matthews is probably the best choice for this open scholarship, or just anyone that can handle the ball and score a few points.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere a month ago that Sorn is walking onRapeculturedawg said:I had been of the understanding that Sorn would come here as a Walk-on.
