All I have said, along with most knife control fanatics, is for background checks on all sales. I think we should allow assault knives with a registry, similar to blades longer than 14cm, but not nearly that intense. Maybe something like after a lame knife control class or demonstrating 5 years of knife ownership, you can own one. The vast majority of mass knifings are not people who have owned knives for a long period.
