A few weeks ago, I was going to cover the Woodinville vs. Moses Lake basketball game in Ellensburg. But there were reports of likely snowfall at Snoqualmie Pass. So the team asked if I would like to ride on their bus over there. I accepted the offer and off we went.

We were crossing Snoqualmie Pass at around noon and I got into a long conversation with assistant coach Ali Forde who was in the seat behind me. It turned into a nice article. (Writers are magpies)
