While Coach Thomas might be sticking up for his "guy" (singular); perhaps he oughta' think about the other "guys" (plural) on his football team that might also have some interest in playing college football as well.
Alienating coaching staffs and recruiting gurus probably isn't doing the other guys (plural) on his team any favors. -
