This kid now has offers from Bama, LSU, Florida, Notre Dame, and USC.
Now would be a good time for Paopao to justify keeping a TE coach on staff -
I'm not against having a TE coach. But if you have a TE coach, he better be able to win some recruiting battles.BallzDeep said:
Huh? We play two and sometimes three TE's at the same time. Of coarse we need a TE coach.Neighbor2972 said:This kid now has offers from Bama, LSU, Florida, Notre Dame, and USC.

Sure. But keeping those guys in state doesn't make him a great recruiter. Its not like they came to UW because of Paopao.BallzDeep said:
Does he get no credit for keeping Austin Sefarian-Jenkins, Hunter Bryant, and Devin Culp home?Neighbor2972 said:

A TE coach only needs to recruit 1-2 guys a year so its hard to tell how good of a recruiter he really is. Maybe behind the scenes he's been really helpful recruiting Arizona & his other areas. On the surface though, it doesn't seem like he does that much. -
Do you have any pictures of his hips?

I tend to think PaoPao does more than we realize. Being the one Sark holdover on the staff it doesn't seem like Pete would feel any great loyalty to him. Yet here he is, four plus years later. Pete's shown a willingness to fire his guys who aren't producing, I don't think he'd hesitate to fire a guy who wasn't his.
I imagine there's a good reason he's still around. -
I agree with DNC. Doesn't hurt to have another poly coach on staff either. He's young and can relate to these kids. I think he helps reinforce other positions in addition to his work recruiting TE's. His position group has been one of the most consistent so far and the future looks brighter than ever. I love how we use them in our offense.dnc said:I tend to think PaoPao does more than we realize. A guy to watch this spring is Cade Otton...he's going to be a beast. -
He was recruiting for UW while at Asuza Pacific?BallzDeep said:
