Breece Hall, 4* 2019 RB, Wichita (Northwest), KS

I assume we found him while we were wasting our time recruiting his teammate BUCK Marcus Hicks who will never come here, but we are flailing away anyway.
This might be a situation where we offer if he seems interested, but holy fucking shit, his body control, efficiency of movement and explosiveness is fantastic. Plus he is 6-2, 200. Wow.
I like Austin Jones a little bit better, but this kid is up there.

The way he gears up is pretty special for a big dude. His catching ability, too.

This is why I pay my 10.95

i'm seeing a little heavier Louis Rankin. Nice find.

He looks like Kalen Ballage who was brutally underutilized at ASU.
-
Breece is a girl's name.

He looks incredible. Take Sean Dollars off our big bored and replace him with this kid

The good news is that high quality recruits in Kansas (which are few and far between) tend to be a bit of a toss-up. Clearly, it is in the Big XII's geographical footprint and Oklahoma has the most recruiting clout in and around the Wichita metro. But after that, it is a bit of a free-for-all, though most have historically gone to Big XII schools.

This is great stuff, but they all head east outside of one kid.AIRWOLF said:The good news is that high quality recruits in Kansas (which are few and far between) tend to be a bit of a toss-up. I will be completely fucking shocked if either one of these kids gives us a long look. -
He's like a darker Rick Fenney.
-
I like that he has hook & ladder experience, would be a good fit in Pete's system IMO
-
That seems to be true, except for Chris Harper, who went to Oregon as a QB and then transferred to K-State, where he became a WR.Dennis_DeYoung said:

If the name sounds familiar it is because the Seahawks drafted him in the 4th round in 2013. The Seahawks cut him in pre-season. Great use of 4th round draft capital. -
only the Kansas and Oklahoma schools are closer via car than Seattle is via flight.

You're talking Kansas and Oklahoma. Half the state has never even been through airport security, yet ventured further West beyond Colorado.whlinder said:only the Kansas and Oklahoma schools are closer via car than Seattle is via flight.
It's a different world.
Warshington is southern Alaska to midwest folks.

Kansas isn’t really the Midwest, it’s the Great Plains. That doesn’t invalidate your other points though. It underscores them.MisterEm said:

It is a totally a different world. I have way too much family in Kansas and have flown on too many 19 seat propeller planes in to the Northwest section of the state to visit them. My mother had the good fortune of growing up right around 4.5 hours away from Kansas City and Omaha, 4:45 from Denver, 3:30 from Wichita and 3:45 from Lincoln NE. I can get to Europe easier than I can to Kansas.MisterEm said:

If someone wants to get out may as well get out to Washington. Praise Allah my mom got out; neither of her siblings did. -
This guy is amazing. Looks in his thirties too

KS is the Midwest to those living in the Midwest. I've lived in both "areas."AIRWOLF said:

They are the fucking same. Zero culture... unless you also see the historical value of a 3rd generation cat family living inside a 67 SS 454 Chevelle in your grandpappy's garage.
"It will be on Mecum's Auto Auction next Fall, Grandpappy. I promise!"
If that is the case, then both the Midwest and plains states (don't blink!) will check those boxes
They both fucking suck.
Capiche? -
haven't we already established that geographical semantics are very important?MisterEm said:
