Cavs chaos is unprecedented, and time is running out

They only have three more months of preseason to figure it out.

Time ran out when Durant signed with Golden State.
-
I like the Rockets this year
-
Lebron's playing 3d chess. He's giving the rest of the east hope in a 7 game series all the while resting during the regular season.
-
They will win the East. This happens every year and every single year is the worst it’s ever been until they make the Finals.

He has -1 championships in the record book.allpurpleallgold said:Time ran out when Durant signed with Golden State.

I would reconsider how you're counting. He can't have less championships than Durant at 0.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

Reading is fundamental. -
LeBron has a solid 2 rings. The Heat smacked OKC and the Cavs beat the Warriors. The one when Ray Allen hit the shot was lucky.
I would still choose LeBron over Jordan if there were a gun to my head and I needed to win one game to live.
Nothing has changed. LeBron is an AAU pussy. He was one of the the OG’s of AAU pussies.
Jordan was the OG of the grind it out style in the 90’s. We watched years of bad NBA ball because of him. Even the greats have faults. -

Boobs likes to believe that Brady gives his rings away when He loses a Super Bowl.
He is inclined to think that way. -
This year is different. They replaced Kyrie Irving with a 5'8" guy who plays no defense.RoadDawg55 said:They will win the East. This happens every year and every single year is the worst it’s ever been until they make the Finals.
They will need huge contributions from Derrick Rose and Dwayne Wade, and that wont happen sans a game here and there. Korver sucks. Tristan Thompson has fallen into the Kardashian chasm. They'll be lucky to get to the ECF but they won't win them. -

This is a whole nother level of disfunction. Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance aren't saving this season. -

How ironic is this?
The Cavs trade Thomas and Frye's expiring contracts to the Lakers, which will allow the Lakers to have around $69m in cap space during the off season, which they can use to try and lure Lebron and Paul George to LA. Essentially, the Cavs might have also just traded Lebron to the Lakers in this deal. -
Did IT even have a couch of his own in Cleveland? Did he go the rent-to-own route?
-
I guess this more or less blows the whole LeBron to LA out the water huh???
-
It would take more than a Paul George to make a LeBron led Lakers team competitive in the West. It looks more like a total rebuild in LA. I don't doubt that is the Lakers strategy but if LeBron wants to win, LA won't be the place to do it IMO.greenblood said:How ironic is this?

Fuck Dan Gilbert wiff a rusty cheese grater but if so that's not really a bad strategy. LeBron's leaving Cleveland anyway, and he's already said he won't accept a trade so you're not getting compensation for him. This nudges him to the West where you only have to see him twice a year and he won't ever knock you out of the playoffs (Playoffs?gif) if you somehow get back there. Which you could, because the East sucks.greenblood said:How ironic is this?

Paul George, Lebron James, Kuzma, and Ball isn't bad. If they can add one more piece they could contend.salemcoog said:

The Cavs are better than they were yesterday. From that perspective these are good deals.
I don't think Lebrons decision is going to be impacted by how much cap space the Lakers have. If he's going to LA it's an off the court business decision. It's also possible he's already made his mind up. -
Being able to add more pieces around him makes them more attractive to him, IMO.allpurpleallgold said:The Cavs are better than they were yesterday. From that perspective these are good deals.

He knows his clock is ticking and is going to want to win now, which is why I still think he stays in the east. -
Cleveland knows he is going somewhere or else they would have tried to trade the #1 pick for something of great value.allpurpleallgold said:The Cavs are better than they were yesterday. From that perspective these are good deals.

One of the experts said this locks up the East for Cleveland and he thought they would win the East anyway
People forget how much James adds to a team. He took Hickory High to the Finals and won two games
He goes to the Lakers next year and they are better than that team right away
And as for the Warriors - only the Russell Celtics, Magic Lakers, and the James Heat went to 4 straight Finals or more. Golden State will not join that group. They are quietly imploding and will be just a memory by next season. The West will be open again.
