"Q: There's been a lot of talk about your role as a CEO-type coach. What does that mean?
A: I’m everywhere. Like today, the players worked out. I’m watching them. They lift, the offense first. I’m watching. They go for an hour, I leave for about 30 minutes and come back. The defense is out there. I’m watching. Next thing you know, players say, ‘Coach, why are you in the locker room?’ I’m just in the locker room. That’s what I do. They were shocked. They said, ‘Coach, you’re everywhere.’ I told them that when I first took the job. I said, ‘Guys, I’m always going to be around.’ I listen to my eyes. You gain knowledge when you listen to your eyes."

Another gem "I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the players. I sat here for a month without touching."

Love the transmission lines and suburban towers in the background. Screams baller to me. It's a high rise trailer park. #'cruting.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:

If you guys are going to bash the Cheesecake Factory then I AM OUT!

I will flag myself though for the fact that im pretty sure ive been to that cheesecake factory in Norco/Corona. There's not much in that area that isnt bland white person chain food. Expect posts about PF Changs tomorrow if they stay there.

Cheesecake is fucking delicious. Can’t argue with that.whatshouldicareabout said:If you guys are going to bash the Cheesecake Factory then I AM OUT!

If that came out of the mouth of a head coach UW had just hired I think there would be mass suicides on this bored.BaldwinIV said: -

This. Bunch of wannabe elitist assholes here. It’s still lame that a college football coach would take a picture of the menu, but the Cheesecake Factory is a good meal every time.whatshouldicareabout said:If you guys are going to bash the Cheesecake Factory then I AM OUT!

They whiffed on the top ten in state prospects. That is continuing a poor trend started by his predecessor. Not even Sark did that and he DNGAF about Washington State. After Croswell and Robertson this class will have to rely on evaluation and development. No one knows if Herm is good at either. Anyone know how his draft history in the NFL was? Did he whiff more than he hit? Might be a good indicator of his eval skills although when you are in the 30-40 rank in recruiting range you need to long term project prospects as well. Who knows? I'm so glad he's in our conference.rodmansrage said:maybe herm just long conning us all?

Herms > Peterman

End of discussion
But let's be real. Herm isn't evaluating shit. Isn't calling plays either. He's there to be the hype man. It's glorious.
