C'mon, let's give credit where credit is due now that our least favorite winning coach is gone. Sark recruited a truck load of very athletic and talented players for QB, WR, RB, and DB skill positions while nearly ignoring the OL, DL and LB's. He won more games than he could lose with pass-happy intellectual football while playing patty-cakes on the line of scrimmage and eventually riding the most penalized team in FBS football to eight wins before escaping the city of workaholic football for a return to his laidback poolside dreams in La-La land.

Sark showed us what it feels like to leave behind the worst Husky Football in the long history of the game, replacing it with the hands-sitting, mind-numbing boredom of heavily penalized stop-and-go offense interspersed with rubber-band defense and incompetent special teams. Or in other-wards, no Huskyfan truly knowledgeable about football can deny that we don't now know what coogloser (WSU/BYU) football in the big city looks and feels like.

Could Sark's curse be Woody's vision of Husky Football's future...... to win apple cups with WSU imitation and never get close to a duck hunt again? Or has our AD-in-training heard enough Dawgfan bitching/growling/snarling to go in a different direction with the next hire? If the latter, we may have much to thank Sark for, especially his smart decision to get the hell out of Montlake. If not, then we might expect attendance to start falling again and perhaps pool boy will do a Sark and take a hike to another place. I can't believe that I could somehow think the next hire might be a win-win.
