Why the FUCK do I have to fill out papers EVERY fucking doctor appointment asking the same shit? The Throbber goes his general practioner and they ask every fucking time what prescriptions I'm on. The Throbber goes to his cardiologist - in the SAME FUCKING medical group, owned and operated by the same parent company - and they ask the same damned question. OVER and OVER again.
Certainly the database geeks are smart enough to have a centralized repository of information that I could confirm the information or make the necessary changes to things like phone number or email address or weight or whatever. Leave a spot open for "why are you here today?"
Instead, I fill out these goddamned papers over and over and over again. Answer the same fucking question. The Throbber's birthdate has NEVER changed. The Throbber's social security number has NEVER changed. Once in a while my address changes.
Then apparently someone in the massive back office of the doctor keys this information in somewhere - or scans the document or some fucking thing.
THEN, I actually get to see a generally fat nurse and she asks the same fucking thing and puts the answers into a computer so the doctor can review my records.
It annoys the shit out of me. Computers and apps for one's phone should be able to handle the data management. If Bezos, Dimon and Buffet can solve that problem, I'll brb, yo furiously in their honor.
