UW Signing Class 2014: Sark's last gasp on Montlake

UW ended up signing 24 players less than 2 months after Pete got hired.
A few stars and some really solid contributors, too: Budda, Sidney Jones, Pettis, Gaines, McGary, McIntosh, Sample, Jaylen Johnson.
Not bad for two months work by the new staff.
But what's interesting are the four guys who committed under the previous staff and whose scholarships were honored by Pete.
Jamie Bryant — Never played a snap
Matt James — Started first two games of 2015 while Strausser got Trey Adams ready; been anchored to the bench ever since
Drew Lewis — Never played a snap
Lavon Washington — Never played a snap
It's hard to overstate how much UW Football was cratering when Pat Haden threw us a lifeline and Pete accepted it.

That is interesting.
What is even more interesting is that none of the kids who verbaled to Sark and then decommitted after he left ever did shit either: http://hardcorehusky.com/forums/#/discussion/44142/where-are-they-now-sark-s-2014-verbals -
Well done, Fremont Troll.
The longer Sark stayed at UW, the worse he got.
Not much more to it than that.

Drew Lewis ended up being good at Colorado.
Oddly, Trey committed to Sark too... so he's probably technically, 'the last Sark recruit'. -
Trey committed to WARSHINGTON, dammitDennis_DeYoung said:Drew Lewis ended up being good at Colorado.

I remember that Drew Lewis's brother twice tried to abduct or sexually assault a minor while he was in high school. It was a fairly high profile case. Anyways, this got brought up on the dawgman bored because people asked if Sark would try to bring his brother in as a walk on. Kim essentially gave everybody a "kids will be kids. Don't judge. You don't know the whole story" bullshit. It was really fucked up because that would be an acceptable response if he was suspected of stealing beer or something, not kiddie diddling.Dennis_DeYoung said:Drew Lewis ended up being good at Colorado.

Also, Trey Adams has said he was essentially decommitted from UW when Sark was there. He was planning to go elsewhere until Sark left. -
I'd like to see you post this on the Dawgman Hardcore Recruiting® forum and see how long it takes Griswold or Scott to insist you don't know what you're talking about.bananasnblondes said:

Just like Budda was locked up for UW even though he was committed to Oregon when Sark was announced as USC's new coach (har, har).
