Jake Browning is one of the top signal callers in the class of 2015, and the California prospect garners some high-credit interest.
Browning attends Folsom (Calif.) Folsom High School, and is projected to play quarterback at the next level. He is listed at 6'2 and weighs in at 185 pounds.
Browning is a consensus four-star prospect, receiving the rating from 247sports, Rivals, Scout and ESPN. ESPN is highest on him, ranking him as the fourth-best pocket passing quarterback in the nation, but all four services rate him among the top 10 players at the position. The 247sports composite, which aggregates the ratings of all four major recruiting services, considers him a four-star prospect, rating him as the fourth-best pro-style quarterback in the nation and the 18th-best player in the state of California.
Browning claims offers from Alabama, Boise State, Colorado, Oklahoma State, San Jose State, Utah, Washington and Washington State. He can be found on Twitter @jake_browning.

To be fair a 4 year starter with at least one playoff appearance is a 4 star
All that being said Jake Browning sucks -
Damn I didn't know wazzu wanted him.that woulda been even worse beatings than Fall surrendered
-
Go back and find the threads where Wazzu fans were confident that they had Browning locked up.rustysavage said:Damn I didn't know wazzu wanted him.that woulda been even worse beatings than Fall surrendered
When Browning committed, cuogs went full WDWHA and said that they had Ryphen locked up and that Ryphen was much better than Browning.
When Ryphen committed to BSU, it was a total meltdown.
Then they ended up with Hillinski. -
Too soon
-
Alabama.

CougCenter: Leach got his man early again as Tyler Hilinski committed in the spring. Jake Browning and Brett Rypien were also big recruiting targets for WSU that year and both have found success at UW and Boise State. The early returns on Hilinski are very encouraging, so Cougar fans shouldn’t feel too bad about losing out on the other two.whatshouldicareabout said:

Man, you guys ....
That being said Browning in the Alabama system would have been interesting. -
It would have been chintresting to watch Browning hold a clipboard as the 3rd string QB at Alabama?animate said:Man, you guys ....

In defense of CougCenter, Hilinski made a bigger name for himself than either Browning or Rypien ever will.jhfstyle24 said:
