I support self government and self determination. Therefore, I support New California. However, if you think Marin, Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake, yolo, humboldt, and the Sacramento valley counties up to butte county are leaving old California, as shown in the proposed map, you are as big a fool as DJT. Furthermore, there’s no way Riverside and San Bernardino vote to cast their lot with an economically unsustainable western Sierra.

Those citizens will have to be satisfied to be residents for the time being of the most economically powerful sovereign state in the Western Hemisphere on January 19, 2018.

Lake Mead and Lake Powell to begin with. As your own nation, you will lose the right to siphon the water supply of another sovereign nation. You'll have to negotiate that with Trump in exchange for no illegal Californians entering the United States except for the best and brightest.
