And I recall Tosh recruiting for Cal 1 day and UW the next. Cal fans will tell you he was recruiting for UW before he signed his contract. -
Because all that noise was about recruiting trips yesterday - ie when Sark left. Very plausible Mora literally got contacted for the first time yesterday re the job opening. So he finishes up scheduled recruiting trips & then reaches out to Woodward.CuntWaffle said:

Now it's Tuesday, & clearly there is an offer on the table. And certainly Mora has talked to UW. Our best hope was that right now Mora was ironing out details.
If that's the case, if just makes no sense for him to (1) still go out on a recruiting trip, (2) go as representing UCLA, & (3) take along UCLA staff.
He should be busy finalizing legal docs, talking to current players, reaching out to potential coaches, etc.
Continuing to recruit in this situation makes no sense IF he's planning to leave. He's not an assistant, he's the head coach, there is a ton of stuff he would be doing right now to prepare for such a huge shift. -

Unlike Sark this isn't an easy decision. Also unlike Sark he is a man of character and will continue to work for the CURRENT employer that pays him which is UCLA.
