It's not over for Quooks!

Leavitt took our? defense from worst in college football shitty to only somewhat shitty with freshmen playing DB. He has a track record of playing tough-minded, smash-mouth defense everywhere he goes (SWIDT?)
I'm happy with the re-hire. I iz a faggitt for Leavitt! -
I think the hot Quook take of this is great and the hot Doog take of Oregon should just fold the program now are to be expected. But the hot Noole take of Leavitt was coming to "Tally" for what he was making at Oregon or less because we're? Free Shoes University kind of made me realize they deserve Taggart.
Leavitt is LIPO, until he isn't. But now it's easier for me to pretend nobody ever came to Eugene to cut the heads off the snakes. -
It's a mistake to think the ducks are the coogs. If he isn't raking in the big returns by year 2, 3 max, he's outta here.dnc said:
Agree. It’s the kind of move that should have them just good enough for Cristobal to get 4 or 5 years.Doogles said:Leavitt is a proven good DC and deserves what he gets. Don't be salty. That's a big win for Cristoball
Everybody wins. Especially us. -

yeah, but your team is filled with a bunch of 'me first, let me do what i want, coach' type of pussies. at least the boof players knew they werent shit and had to go full Rudy for it to work.AZDuck said:Leavitt took our? defense from worst in college football shitty to only somewhat shitty with freshmen playing DB. Leavitt is as good of a D coordinator as there is for rock bottom defenses and will have them respectable on that side of the ball sooner than later.
But that Offense though. -
lmao, what offense?salemcoog said:

idk dudes i heard they averaged 50 ppg when herbert was healthy

Every great progam goes through some rough patches. Cristobal is on a short leash and will be replaced by a big name (like Urban Meyer) if he doesn't pan out quickly. Oregon's goals haven't changed at all: total domination of the conference and a trip to the national championship every 5 years or so going forward.

Oregon has had three chances to hire a big name since Chip left.oregonblitzkrieg said:Every great progam goes through some rough patches. Oregon football is dead. No one gave a fuck about the Vegas Bowl, not the team, not the fans. HTH. No one showed up to play. No one wanted to see faggot Freeman give a motivational speech while his fat ass sat on the bench. No one wanted to see the debut of Knight's discount aisle head coach. Only ultra quooks changed previously scheduled plans to watch that shit. HTFH.oregonblitzkrieg said:Every great progam goes through some rough patches. We ran the ball down Colorado’s throat in the PAC 12 championship game. Because they allowed 35,41,51,70,52,45,52,34 last year.PurpleThrobber said:37, 33, 49, 31, 38, 38.
How the FUCK does a guy who gives up those numbers in SIX losses get $1.7 Million per year?
I guess, how the FUCK does a guy who got fired at Florida-Fucking-International get a multi-year, multi million dollar deal, too
I chose the wrong profession.
The points allowed in losses went from 48/game to 38/game. I know Sark>Ty
Last year's team also had a competent offense for most the year, compared to this year that had an abortion of an offense without Herbert for almost half the year.
The 38 given up to Boise doesn't look so bad when you realize that Boise was inside our? 30 yard line for 80% of the game. And our defense scored as much as the offense so there's that.
The defense went from ranked 126 last year to 46th this year. 46th isn't great, but one year removed from 126th makes 46th look like world beaters.
Oregon definitely overpaid for Leavitt, but they needed to. He was going to Florida State if they hadn't.
I find it funny that the board was bashing Oregon two weeks ago for possibly losing Leavitt, but now bashing them for retaining him? What changed? Oregon is a better team with Leavitt than without him...anybody that doesn't see that needs to take off their purple glasses.
Let me add that I don't think Oregon's defense is great or even good yet, but it's average. And I'll take average this year as long as it becomes good next year.

It's no secret that Oregon can recruit better talent than Colorado. -

It's not like Oregon has been running out a bunch of 2 stars and walkons the last 2 years. -

And they went from 126th to 46th. If this team is 46th next year then they have a problem, but if Leavitt turns Oregon into a top 25 defense next year, I thinks it will prove money well spent.bananasnblondes said:

I love the butthurt on the FSU boreds. They thought they had this in the bag. They've been kissing Leavitt's ass for weeks and singing his praises. Now they're pumping out articles with phony reasons why it's good FSU didn't get him. Go fuck yourself Willie you little bitch. I hope Leavitt played him till the last second and set back his DC search by a few weeks.

Jim Leavitt 2017 = DeWayne Walker 2008. Parlaying erroneous perception into an undeserved over-market contract.

It needs to be said every Oregon defense commit is tweeting about Scott White to Oregon right now. And Scott White is returning the favor by retweeting everyone of them.
