What Larry ScottFS Needs to do.

Split it up as the Bay Area schools, the four PNW schools and BSU. The South gets everyone else. You get the Holy War on rivalry weekend and BSU vs CU who have shitty true rivals like Idaho and CSU so they don't fucking matter anyways. Mormons have a fuck ton of money and travel well, which is something this conference needs. The UC schools can fuck off with their academic smack talk. We all left academics behind when ASU was allowed to join.
Here is the answer for all of the whiney recruiting disadvantage folks; THE FUCKING INTERNET, AIRPLANES, AND TV EXISTS!!!! You can watch your son play every week for basically nothing or for a few hundred bucks.
It will be a great PR piece as well because UO/OSU will both play PSU to supplement a big part of their athletic fund. The same goes for UW/Wazzu for EWU, etc. Then everyone schedules teams like Virginia, Rutgers, Illinois, etc. to rack up wins.
When the playoff goes to 8 teams soon we drop our CCG like the SEC instantly will do. If they didn't have that game and it was an 8 team this year Bama, Auburn, and UGA would all be dancing. The SEC has figured out college football, copy what they do.
Boise can be subbed out for UNLV and their new stadium and way better city.

Adding Boise and BYU is a great way for everyone to make less money.
Fuck off. -
stopped reading there, wjw.Mosster47 said:Besides go swimming in the McKenzie in the summer: Add BYU and Boise State to the conference this off season and start scheduling like conferences that care. 8 game conference schedule, 1 shitty P5 team, 3 FCS teams, and Bye weeks prior to big games.

Yeah, grabbing one of the only other metro areas west of the Rockies and massive cult would be terrible.dnc said:Adding Boise and BYU is a great way for everyone to make less money.

Still waiting on that trickle down effect from the People's Republic of Boulder.
The Pac-12 won't be participating in the 2018 playoffs either. Let's keep playing harder schedules than we need to at midnight. -
Your solution is to add more teams that are used to playing at midnight.Mosster47 said:

I have a better solution. Let's dump Utah (sorry @89ute ) and Colorado, then dump the Arizona schools next. Go back to the Pac-8 and play games at 1PM in purple and gold unis for once.

When the Pac expanded in 2011 there was a shot at getting the Pac 8 to be the west division of the Pac 16 with the Big 8 being the east - some version thereof.Swaye said:I have a better solution. Of course Larry fucked it up and took Colorado and Utah instead -
Oh yeah. We were all excited about how we were going to get Texas and Tech, and Homo and Okie Lite.RaceBannon said:

Colorado, historically or otherwise, is a big upgrade for the Pac over, at least, 3 or 4 of the Pac 8 schools.Swaye said:I have a better solution. Maybe 3, but definitely not 4 of the PAC8. Which begs the question, why add another lower tier program? LarryScottFS. Getting Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma lite would have been a major coup. What he actually "pulled off" was a popcorn fart in comparison.YellowSnow said:

CU has a better football tradition in the "modern era" than WSU, OSU, and CAL for sure. Oregon is nouveau riche so always hard to compare.Southerndawg said:

Why do you want to add a team that would plunger Oregon year in year out to the conference?

GREAT idea to add no market viewers while adding more teams to divide existing revenues with.
I bet you got this from the Mom of an eight year old willing to do ANYTHING to have little Jr play QB in the highest classification of youth football in America. -

i mean, fuck man, you have a ton of shitty posts but this one, this one may be your natty. -
Larry Scott didn't fuck this one up, he fucked up the 2nd time when OU/Okie St wanted in and he said thanks but no thanksRaceBannon said:

The first one was essentially agreed on a Sunday night at 10:00 pm, w/ the merge being announced Tuesday. Gene Stallings (who was at Texas A&M as AD iirc) called a emergency meeting of Texas/OU/Okie and the rest of the Big 12 schools and made a passion plea to "stick together, we are the SWC, Texas tough football" speech and it somehow worked as the Big 12 stayed whole.
The ironic fuck you was one year later Texas A&M bolted for the SEC.
