If I recall correctly he was pretty small out of HS too. Got bigger during a gap year before going the juco route.NEsnake12 said:
He tore his ACL his senior year before he got any serious offersbananasnblondes said:2 questions on Tremblay.
1- Is he originally from SoCal?
2- Is he a shitty high school student Juco or a shitty high school player Juco? -
Get our hearts ripped out again and again. Yay.

He gone! If Pete didn’t bag this slut yet, it’s over!
-
Do you want to put a 50 dollar TJ Maxx card on that?Dennis_DeYoung said:If USC wants Tremblay he’s gone.
It’s possible they don’t. But if they do, he’s 10000% going there. -

2- Is he a shitty high school student Juco or a shitty high school player Juco?
1- No, he's originally from Napa. The HS he went to isn't normally very competitive and rarely produces D1 football talent. The notable exceptions are Ucla white wonder WR Sean LaChappelle and not D1 but eventual NFL star OL Larry Allen (who was air dropped in from a HS in LA to get away from gang activity).
2- Definitely the latter, but possibly both. As noted, he did tear ACL senior season. But recently I had a random, by chance conversation with one of his HS coaches. The coach was stunned that Tremblay was garnering such attention. Talked about his experience coaching him and it was, to put mildly, not really what most would consider OKG. Basically, really questionable attitude, work ethic, and academis.
Based on this conversation I would say him wanting to go to Alabama and eventually going to SC would make a whole lot of sense. -
Napa know how
-
maybe he followed Qualls career straight outta Rohnert Park (nearly Napa)!
-
We have no depth so I trust the coaches and want him here!!!!Saracen said:bananasnblondes said:2 questions on Tremblay.

This keeps getting worse and worse for UW. Now the word is that he might try and piggyback a UCLA visit on Sunday right after his USC visit. The kid is obviously looking for every fucking reason not to come to UW. How the hell we fucked this up with our desperate need for DL is absolutely infuriating. If he was sold on us he would be committed. He's a Cali kid that wants to go to college in SoCal bra. End. Of. Story. FYFMFE

Kwat can you stop recruiting, plz and thank you?
FFS Pease and Strassuer could recruit better than this fucker. -
Told Roof that USC leads.
lol.

As a JC, he'd be expected to help right away, but 275? That's not what we need next year.
We need Gaines next year. -
I heard some stuff about Gaines, but I need to see how some other stuff works out before I know I can trust the source.Quietcowskee said:As a JC, he'd be expected to help right away, but 275? That's not what we need next year.

Okay, fine. To make a long story short I was told he is staying. I wasn't going to say it because I have no verification on the source and I don't want to end up like Ektard, and it also seems to be really unlikely (married, what does he get from returning, probably a 4th rounder or so).dnc said:

do you want to crystal ball him to stay or are you afraid that your accuracy rating would be in jeopardy?jhfstyle24 said:

NOGAF if you're right. Just say what you've heard and let us know how reliable you think it is. Jesus.jhfstyle24 said:

Unverified source says Gaines to stay, based on the preponderance of evidence I'll cristobal him to LEAVE, but something might change.
That's how you cover all your bases, bitches -

I sure hope Greg stays for his sr year. The DL gaines so much with Greg in the mix. See what I did right there?

In general a uw offer in California is not taken seriously when put up against one from usc.
The fact that they can call someone up, and tell them they're offering him because someone got hurt and still get him tells you how things work for them -
The guy from the 247 UCLA site is claiming that Tremblay is a heavy UW lean.
Doesn't quite fit with the reports from Roof and Ektard but who knows -
No idea who they are but there's a 100% chance they are more reliable than Ektard.bananasnblondes said:The guy from the 247 UCLA site is claiming that Tremblay is a heavy UW lean.

Roof literally has a quote from Tremblay saying that he's leaning towards USC. Although it's very possible that she could have completely made that up.bananasnblondes said:The guy from the 247 UCLA site is claiming that Tremblay is a heavy UW lean.

It doesn’t matter if you are right... as long as you are FIRST.

Mike Reilly hasn't hired a d-line coach yet.....guntlove said:Single T = Shit-canning Malloe, IMHO.
It looks like Taimani's in the bag, credit to Pete & Malloe. But you gotta get at least one of the other two as well. String & Levi could make for a handy starting pair next year, but after that, it's hot garbage.
Malloe's had every fucking advantage with Togai... proximity, cousin on the team, family wants him to go here, playoff appearance last year/fiesta bowl this year. If he can't close Togai, then the dude just can't close. It's sales, get it fucking done.
Pete said himself that winning championships will depend on how well we're? able to recruit & develop defensive lineman... it things don't change real quick we're? gonna find ourselves? in the same spot we were stuck in this year at WR.
Double T should be the minimum expectation.
Note to SC: make a commitable offer or I’ll don the Purple and Gold and rip your QBs lips off.bananasnblondes said:The guy from the 247 UCLA site is claiming that Tremblay is a heavy UW lean.

He has until the 15th to sign. The longer in lasts the better for us. He'll probably wait until the the second to see if USC takes him. Lets hope USC gets McClain and other DLinemen.
