I've carried this "peak UW football" thing around for 25 years that Hugh Millen came up with. Because he's right
It was the 92 Stanford game on National TV on Halloween at 3:30 eastern so nobody watched but we were #1 and they were top 15 and we won 42-7. That week Billy Joe got suspended. We had won the natty and were looking like we'd be on top for a while and *poof* it was gone, No warning, just gone.
We're still on the way up now. Nowhere near Peak UW Football again.
