They need to stop allowing teams to schedule FCS schools, go back to calling it D-1, and kick about 30 schools out of the division altogether.
Nuke half the bowls, and it would be perfect.

It is called D 1. It has two subdivisions.

Subdivisions are fucking stupid. Call the 2nd division D-2 and so on.

The second Division is called D 2. CWU plays in D2.

And this would probably surprise you, but the third division is called D 3.

CWU plays in D-3. Linfield plays in D-4.

That's strange...how come the NCAA only has championships for three divisions in all of its sports then?

I am willing to bet Sven's 20 bucks ... in the next three years there will only be four major conferences ... each will have 2 divisions ... with a conference championship ... that leads to a four team playoff ... and an elimination of the selection committee.

Because of the pending class action ... small schools will be dropped like #58 in Sven's signature line.

This would be insanely awesome, but I think the playoff would expand to eight teams once shit gets blown up.

Your system would leave Alabama out this year.

Four conference champs + four best other teams.

Pac 12 champ vs Big 10 champ in Rose Bowl.

SEC champ vs Big 12 champ in Sugar Bowl.

    Everyone else NOC.

Watching Stanford play Michigan State in one semifinal while Missouri plays Oklahoma State in the other semifinal would be quite special.

Does the winner of your tournament play Duke for the gold though?
