A pile of facts
This year we scored 462 points and gave up 281 points, a positive delta of 181 points.
281 points is the least we have given up since the 2000 Rose Bowl team (but only 5 points less than last year)
462 is the most we have scored since the 1991 NC team!
The +181 delta is the first positive delta since 2002, and the largest since the 1991 NC team!
This year we only lost to "good" teams, and didn't blow any games against teams we should've beaten. That hasn't happened since the 2000 RB team.
And we haven't won 8 games in a season since 2001
Negative
5-4 for the fourth straight year. Incredibly weak OOC schedule.
Sark's PAC-12 results:
2009 7th
2010 T3
2011 T4
2012 T5
2013 6th
Our delta in PAC games was +83, but the difference between our results in games against the good teams and the bad teams was massive.
The mission is to beat the other PAC-12 contenders. No matter what else we did this year, we didn't do that.

Sark is still coach -
The advanced metrics really suck when they don't use diminishing returns against shit opponents.
Also, Sark is still the coach, so the 2014 season is already over. -
The progressively one place worse in the conference stat is the most disturbing. We should consistently be in the top four by the fifth year, if not a North champion. The whOregon mystique is over and we should have beaten Standford.

The conference delta is something I pointed out before the year started. It hasn't been positive since 2000 season. At +9ppg that is actually very good. 10 is usually the minimum you see from conference champions. As I said on the last podcast, we had a season much like ASU did last year. They were front runners and dominated bad teams but lost to all the best teams.
Graham was in his 2nd year. This will be Sark's 6th. Mike Stoops in his 6th year was 6-3 in conference and had he not blown a 7pt lead against Oregon, would have gone to the Rose Bowl. Still, his tenure wasn't good.
2014 will be Sark's best team but 2015 will definitely be a struggle because the OL will be a disaster. I don't think Sark is a good enough coach to win enough games to get a NFL offer- which I think he would take after next year. -
76 of the 83 point conference delta came against two Big Sky teams.
Meh. -

-64 point delta vs. ranked Pac 12 opponents.
ASU was "technically" not ranked when we played them, but I still included them. -
I love how Kim's response to this was "you must be a miserable, negative person. Bob Rondeau told me this once"

Kim hates facts that don't support his agenda. Are you reading this midget?

Having the greatest statictical running back in history of the UW and not even being in the rose bowl conversation speaks volumes about sark.
