Wrong. Not only does J fs Smith keep his job but he got away with calling 41 pass plays versus 26 rushes (adjusting for 6 Brownsox carries). That shit don't fly versus WSU.

I am continually amused how people think Petersen has no clue about what Smith is doing.

He is a processes guy. Everyone from Smith to Browning is hand selected to execute that process.
