Go figure, a coach who emphasizes importance on special teams.

Urban Meyer and Nick Saban have always said you can judge a coach if he's good or not by his special teams play.
The Seahawks special teams play this year has been outstanding and with Harvin now doing kickoffs it will be even better. -
DJ said the same thing.
But Sark is a level above these coaches.
Wide receivers is where it's at.

I never said no such thing.mobey said:DJ said the same thing.

Special teams play tells a lot about a coach. Attention to detail, ability to build quality depth on a team, understanding that field position matters... Oh, it's a good way to tell if your coach is actually doing his fucking job or not. Do the guys on the bottom of the depth chart know how to play their lanes and tackle? No? (see Sark's special teams vs. Ty Montgomery) Then he's probably not a very good coach.

Special Teams is not the NBA, nor is it boring.

Wasn't Ricks special teams play good?
