My guess is that he was/is a step slow from his injury last year, and he's at least 10 lbs heavier which has made it worse. I'm also guessing he and the coaches wanted to work on him adding outside rushing to his responsibilities last spring/summer when he should have been focusing on MLB.
BBK has been playing really well, but he will still get run over whenever we play a top RB. Wish we had last year' Victor at MLB, and I hope he gets back to that level in the pros. -

For a staff which is so good at developing players (except QB) it is really a weird result this year, unless Azeem is being held back by injuries. -
It's
hardweird. The play does tend to stop when BBK gets to the ball carrier. He never has the "oh fuck yeah brb" plays that Azeem had but I guess it works. I also noticed he and Key-Shawn aren't lining up shoulder to shoulder like Key-Shawn and Azeem did last year. Our linebackers positioning fluctuates pre-snap and it makes me wonder if due to our talent on the line BBK is given a different responsibility whereas Azeem was asked to fuck shit up inside.
