unless Stanford beats ND I can't see it.
We should be 9-0, but a 2nd straight conference title would still be tremendous with or without playoffs

Or perhaps Stanford in a rivalry game.
Even then, ND doesn't play conference championship game so they should be behind one-loss power 5 conference champions.
Essentially ND will be fighting for a spot with Big-12 team between winner of Oklahoma and TCU next week. -
You lost to unranked ASU. Notre Dame lost to Georgia. HTH.

That would likely put a 1 loss Miami above us. I guess if Georgia loses to auburn things maybe open up someHuskyHalfBrain said:

If Miami and Georgia (or Alabama) finishes the season with 1 loss will mean 1) they are not a conference champion or 2) they are a conference champion with a late season loss.dhdawg said:

Thus why a 1-loss PAC-12 Champion Washington will be ahead of both 1-loss ACC or SEC teams minus a 1-loss ACC Champion Clemson. -

We lost to ASU. Pump the brakes.

No shit.Swaye said:We lost to ASU. Pump the brakes.
I don't think we finish the regular season with one loss moreso a conference champion.
Just saying if Washington wins out then they are absolutely in the CFP. -
I know it's the cool thing to shit on the Pac 12 but we're always going to be helpless losers if we can't even stick up for ourselves. Sec claims they're the best. Big whatever claims they're the best, pac12 just accepts the narrative of being little gay boys playing slap ass on the west coast

A 1-loss Power 5 conference champ may as well have 10 losses up against Notre Dame.
Lots of Catholic TV eyes on the national brand.
Throw in that Notre Dame's only loss would be to undefeated/1-loss Georgia.
Notre Dame fucks up the whole thing. They in with only 1 loss.

Better hope for a huge Stanford upset of ND then. Because still no room. 1 loss Georgia puts one loss Oklahoma back in the discussion. Undefeated Wisky gets in, too.WeakarmCobra said:

Honestly, I don't think our offense is good enough to compete with clemson or bama. Only reason i want our guys to get into the playoffs is for the free pub and because our defense deserves that exposure. Our offensive scheme is complete dog shit, it does not fit our personnel but babushka is fucking adamant about running it.PurpleThrobber said:

Yea I'm not sure wtf some of you guys are smoking. We don't get in over a one loss Notre Dame even though it's bs because they don't play a conference championship game. It's sad because all we had to do was fucking beat ASU. Whatever.PurpleThrobber said:
