Went for a nice family 4pm sunset walk to the royal palace in Stockholm. Noticed more police and security hanging around than usual and started coming up on a large group piping a speech over loud speakers. Once I heard Arabic and noticed the crowd was about 95% males I told the wife to stop speaking English and we took a detour. Stockholm is hyper safe until it’s not and I get the vibe swedes aren’t going to risk themselves to save a foreigner from a foreigner (read WW2 cooperation with nazis).
Swedes don’t like troublesome immigrants and they’re already starting to turn the screws on making the system not work for them, a lot of benefits for foreigners are getting removed. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. And by interesting I mean I hope I don’t die. -
