The forgotten failure of 1999

Massively disappointing loses to UCLA are so common they run together. A top ten list of Bruin games would all be losses. We have never beat them. Ever.
In 99 Rick took over and lost the first two games. We went to the triple option with Tui and got in the league race.
A brutal win at Arizona late capped by a long drive to win set us up for the Rose Bowl. All we had to do was beat a typically under performing UCLA team who had a losing record.
Someone took roses to Tucson just to make sure we were completely humiliated
Anyway we lost to UCLA. Spoiler alert
Fuck them

This reminds me of 2013 when we should have beat them to salvage some respect, shat 21 points immediately, before sark could take his 10th shot.

I was in Tucson that day. FML
Also remember the UCLA game where I UW blocked a punt, tried to scoop and score but accidentally booted the ball. Somehow the play ended with UCLA having the ball and a first down -
We beat UCLA in 2010, thanks to our Star corner quinton Richardson.

Anything involving Tucson is a loss no matter how you slice it

I was in Tucson and Pasadena for those two road games. Thrill of victory and agony of defeat.
