Gotta be pass heavy early. Then really hit them with a steady dose of passes later as they'll think the early passing was to set up the run.
Any more than 10 rushes, most of them tricky plays designed to trick a horrible rushing defense, and I'll have to question how much of a genius trickster the UW playcaller is. Simply running the ball against a defense giving up 300 rushing yards per game isn't genius or tricky at all. Fuck that. -
Can anyone explain the 18 point line to me? With the likely first possession, 7 minute drive TD by UCLA, that makes it 25 points really. I’m not certain Peterman’s Eeyore-centric offense can score 25 points total, even against this terrible run defense...
What am I missing - why am I not providing for my non-existent kids education by betting a hefty amount on UCLA here? (No disrespect to the doogs, of course) -
Will JSFS be satisfied with 3 or 4 yd runs (spoiler: NO). It is easy to commit to run when the offense is running at will. More difficult when the offense is averaging 3 yards and a cloud of Field Turf.
