Had a quick look at his tape. He good. Probably a 3-tech, but could also be the next Gaines if he keeps putting on weight and carries it well.

Also worth reiterating: Allen is 6A. They're actually ranked #1 in Texas right now. That means this guy is going to get offers from all the big Texas schools and probably Bama eventually. It really is huge that we're getting an early visit from this guy, or we wouldn't have a chance.

Having said that, if we want a good 2019 DL we'd have a better chance at one if we rip Greg Gaines' ear and plant it in the ground hoping to grow a new one of him by LOI day 2019. -
Never said he was a world-beater. Just saying every big Texas school will likely offer a 4-star 6A player. Coach Pete might not care about star ratings, but most coaches are not Coach Pete.
