    Fun fact I learned today on Doog Pound: There has never been a season in which 5 schools from what are now the Power 5's went through a regular season undefeated with no ties. 1973 was close with 5 "undefeated" squads but 2 of those tied each other. History suggests it won't happen in 2017 either.
