Probably the one game I may not bitch about that statistic. The beav QB got the ball out quickly when he did throw. Mostly the BUCK and SAM positions kept edge contain against the running game. Plus the QB was inaccurate, completing only 50% of his passes. Better to drop guys into coverage.

Do we need better edge pass rushers? Obviously. The guys out there are too slow.

But this was not a game where ZERO sacks really mattered. Ask again if we have ZERO sacks against ucla, wazzu or oregon.

I didn’t notice B.Potato making a play the entire game. Hell I don’t recall a lot of hard tackles. More hugs than anything. I swear Pete told these guys it’s a practice game. Just don’t get hurt.

I didn't see a ton of pressure against the beav QB. Some decent push by Vita, but that's it.

Pete doesn't give a fuck about scrimmages. Problem right now is the entire season is scrimmages so we don't really know what we got.

This makes no sense. Yes, his was a scrimmage that allowed us? to let back-up players run vanilla schemes.

But you're suggesting that Pete won't develop and perfect our best players and schemes because too many games are easy? At some point he will have to let the thoroughbreds sprint, otherwise we? won't be prepared when a decent opponent appears.

And you don't think that sloppy play and blown assignments bug the shit out of him, even against scrimmage teams?

If so, you haven't been paying attention.

I think that's exactly the point. Pete has said after each game something to the effect, "we got them on film." Better corching opportunities against overmatched teams.

    There was enough pressure yesterday
