@ApostleofGrief is a poser.
Everyone knows Simon Fraser are the Clansmen, not the Vikings.

You have to give them at least some credit for having the balls to use SFU. As far as the Clansmen thing goes, having attended a few games, truly no one cares. The good thing about D2 football is you pay no attention to that kind of shit. No one cares. I does not matter who is calling the game because you don't listen anyway. There is no distraction on the jumbotron since they don't have one anyway. If your team loses it is not such a big deal. The game is an hour shorter since they never stop the clock for instant replay -- there is none available. You can generally stand near the sidelines and can hear the banter and pads popping. Occasionally you can retrieve a bad punt. You can also get hit by the ball if the quarterback throws a bullet and you are near the back of the end zone, which happened to me one time. It's not supposed to be D1 football and the players are obviously not as good, but are usually pretty good and take it almost as seriously. It is really just a nice addition to D1 football viewing, not supposed to be a replacement, any more than club music replaces arena rock.PurpleThrobber said:@ApostleofGrief is a poser.

Back in the day, #MyClan used to be seriously juiced out for NAIA/D3 or whatever division they were back then. Sad to see how far #YourClan has fallen.ApostleofGrief said:Central demolishes bad team, Dixie State

I had two former teammates transfer to SFU to get a extra year of eligibility (basketball) they didn't enjoy getting their shit pushed in all year and later admitted regret
