Treshaun Harrison Update

Harrison must really not want to play RB..... no official planned to UW.... just a unofficial

The prospects you really want? Tell 'em they can play any position they want just to get their names on the dotted line.
Then switch later.
See McGary, Kaleb.
Harrison must not be a high priority for UW. -
IT'S NOT OVER FOR TRE'SHAUN!

Nope. Not Petersen's style. He don't bullshit kids.BabsGilbyTawdTy said:The prospects you really want? Tell 'em they can play any position they want just to get their names on the dotted line.

We didn't want him always. I want him, sux WR filled up. I don't understand what is so wrong about lying to a kid? They need to be introduced to how disappointing real life is. What better way to do it than through football.BabsGilbyTawdTy said:The prospects you really want? Tell 'em they can play any position they want just to get their names on the dotted line.

I wouldnt read too much into his UW visit being unnoficial. He lives in Seattle, and could very well switch one of his officials to UW. If that happens, count on a flip.UDubHusky23 said:http://scout.com/college/football/recruiting/Article/4-star-ATH-TreShaun-Harrison-Talks-Oregon-Potential-Visits-106631759

The bigger takeaway here is that he will take all official visits + a visit to UW. So he says he's solid to Oregon but will go check out 5 other schools.
Yet another piece of data pointing to the familiar stench of Patron in Eugene -
Fuck this kid
-
I thought oregon was cool once. But that was when some homeless person asked me if I wanted to try some blueberry bud. I said "what?!" Thinking to myself self, we dont have that shit back home. And thats the only time when I thought eugene might be ok. This was back in 1992, before football was created.

Except when he does bs them like mcgary.whuggy said:

Like bananas said, anytime a local kid (no matter where he is from) says he'll just take an unofficial because they are so close, they almost always end up taking an official. Which he will.
-
Having a kid commit then take 5 visits isn't Sark like at all.
-
He gone.
-
Hmmm.
-
More Harrison's aren't what we need.
We need Togiai's and Taimani's. -
this kid is talented AF, we need more players like himwhuggy said:More Harrison's aren't what we need.

One of those kids who loves being recruited. Wants to be recruited at a specific position. Still would take him if he changes his mind but saying that we should lie to him about him playing WR is just dumb. Keep recruiting his as an RB and either he buys in or he doesn't. If he doesn't buy in on what the coaching staff is selling then he's not a fit. That's what the OKG stuff is all about, not whether or not he'd help an old lady cross the fucking street.
-
After this season this kid will figure his shit out.
-
This. If a kid is swayed by Willie Taggart and his Saturday Night Live shiny things show then he's not a Petersen guy. I doubt CP would even take his commitment if he opened it back up. Don't be surprised to see some guys who aren't on any of our radars start to emerge, especially once they see our running back dominate this year.NorwegianHusky said:One of those kids who loves being recruited. Petersen would probably take his commitment if he figured Harrison's past decision-making was borne from immaturity and/or emotion. If Petersen figured that Harrison has what it takes to fit in - he'd take him.pat_hm said:

Guess we'll see in around 5 months ... -
Of course they would take him. He's fucking talented. They're just not going to let him dictate which position he plays. One guy isn't bigger than the team.animate said:

We want this kid badly. At RB. I think we'll get him. -

If he's taking 6 visits, he's not "committed" to Oregon. Pete obviously won't take him if he's going to take visits so my bet is he does an official commitment closet to signing day. Then theses the issue of him thinking he's a WR. I think UW will keep a close eye on how his season goes and try to real him in lateUDubHusky23 said:

Garfield got shit on by Archbishop, but Harrison had a fantastic game. 7 catches for 122 yards and 2 TD, plus a crazy kickoff return called back. His 2nd touchdown was absolutely incredible. For once I agree with @BallzDeep . This kid cannot be allowed to go to Oregon.

His recent twitter action is pretty Duck-y. I'll check in later today with his teammate and see what's up.
