I agree they could have done much better but this is bullshit.
Maybe not on the majority of them but on a lot of the 3rd and shorts that Rutgers attempted to run they got nothing. -
The trenches are supposed to be to strengths and got dominated at times.
The Bowman's had a really rough evening. Bartlett massive disappointment tonight. -
I like to say the trenches got dominated on both sides of the ball but then realize that Rutgers averaged just a shade over 3 yards per carry ... that's what I like to do
Is there room for improvement? Absolutely,
Will they improve? Of course -
Hate to agree with you, but I do. The OL sucked though.Tequilla said:I like to say the trenches got dominated on both sides of the ball but then realize that Rutgers averaged just a shade over 3 yards per carry ... that's what I like to do

First game of the year ... go back and look at OL performance in OOC last year ... could argue they played down to their competitionRoadDawg55 said:

This is a fucking joke right?

I remember a thread after the Rutgers game last year. Gaskin had a poor game for him and some were worried about the running game. Still, with 4 starters returning, I didn't think the would struggle against Rutgers.Tequilla said:

No excuse for the o line. They sucked tonight but they have the talent to figure it out and be fine.
You can't be serious though about the D Line. They weren't amazing but they had a solid overall game. No worries there at all. -
This. McGarry and Adams both sucked. That doesn't mean we should be concerned and that they are awful players.Tequilla said:

If you want to be concerned by browning looking a lot like the Brownsocks that he was against usc and Bama last year I think that's fair.
We had a bad game running the ball. That doesn't mean the run game isn't going to be one of if not the best in the conference this season. -
The DL gets a B-. Our Big Sky LB's had plenty of chances for TFL and NG only to get run over; run around, or just run. Unlike our brain dead offensive staff, give props to the Rutgers' coaches who continually exploited our shit white LBs
Without Azeem and Beavers , this a .500Mountain WestPAC-12 team. 4 years in, fresh off a playoff appearance we trot out BBK and Sean Constatine. WTF.
