Last season I thought he only couldn't perform during crunch time (brown socking moments) -- his late season injury not withstanding. It is now clear he was made looking way better than he was by having both Ross and Pettis on the same team. Without Ross, he is badly exposed ...

Jake just isn't a game-winner. He's going to leave UW with a boatload of wins, and doog fans will hail him as one of the greatest UW QB's ever, but we're all still waiting for the game when he pulls his head out of his ass and actually carries UW to a win. He isn't a bad QB, I'd go so far as to say he's a good college QB. But he's far from excellent and a lot of that is in his head.

Rutgers was pressing our midgit WR's, stacking the box, blitzing a ton and daring Jake Browning to beat them over the top and he just couldn't fucking do it. Looks like every other team has the game plan now.
