Kasen Williams
Been balling.

He can jump out of the stadium and his arms reach the ground when he is standing straight up.
More physically gifted than any Seahawk WR. -
Who loses their job to make room for him?

Richardson is making too much money. Lockett can be the guy that stretches the defense.priapism said: -

And some of the most historical drops.
And he was terrible last year.
Look, I'm a doog. I love Kearse. I'd love to see him continue making huge catches for the Hawks. But I think it's clear his time is drawing to the end. If he makes the team this year this will definitely be his last. I'm guessing he doesn't make it. -
I never said Kasen was as fast as Richardson. But he will be far more productive. He would fill a different niche on the receiving corps - one that no other current WR can fill.dnc said:

Richardson is always hurt and he is making far more money than Kasen. -
It's barely over a half a million dollars difference. Not sure I'd call that far more, at least not as far as a $165 million salary cap is concerned. Kearse makes 5 times what Kasen makes.Passion said:

Kasen hasn't been the model of health either. -
I don't have a real strong opinion on Kearse one way or the other. Right now I think you have to go with Baldwin and Lockett. After that it gets murky.dnc said:

But again, Kasen appears ready for a breakout season. He is very hungry. And - again - nobody on the roster has his physical tools. -
I don't disagree with any of this.Passion said:

Nobody on the roster has Richardson's physical tools either. I think you keep them both unless he's going to be out for awhile. -
Kearse is the best blocking receiver they have.
Also had the most uncatchable targets in the league last season. -
Both Richardson and Kasen Williams are borderline NFL receivers but don't let that stop this Gilby>Ty debate.

Which means that other than the deep go route against Green Bay 4 seasons ago He can't run routes worth a shit.rustysavage said:Kearse is the best blocking receiver they have.

They're both plenty talented if healthy. But health is a talent and neither of them have yet to display it for any length of time.salemcoog said:Both Richardson and Kasen Williams are borderline NFL receivers but don't let that stop this Gilby>Ty debate.

Wilson is a pretty accurate QB. And if He's consistently being thrown uncatchable balls, it would mean that He wouldnt be where the QB thought he was going to be on a lot ofrustysavage said:

Condotta's (current) view on WRs making the 53-man roster:
WIDE RECEIVER
KEEP: Doug Baldwin, Tyler Lockett, Paul Richardson, Jermaine Kearse, Amara Darboh, J.D. McKissic, Kasen Williams.
CUT: Tanner McEvoy, Kenny Lawler, David Moore, Cyril Grayson, Rodney Smith, Darreus Rogers.
COMMENT: I had Williams making it last week after his game against the Chargers and he only enhanced his odds with the performance against the Vikings — his solo tackle on a kickoff might have helped as much as the two catches. Darboh has yet to do much and was examined for a concussion during the Vikings’ game. But his status as a third-round pick would seem to keep him secure. And once again, I am keepjng McKissic on the roster to serve as an additional returner as Lockett is eased back into things. But his spot hardly seems a lock if Lockett shows he can handle an extensive workload or the team feels comfortable with someone else filling in. The only other two players with returns so far are Moore and Grayson, both of whom seem on the outside looking in. -
I can't see them keeping 7 but the argument for McKissic is chinteresting. I thought he was a RB?Passion said:Condotta's (current) view on WRs making the 53-man roster:

I have them keeping six:
Baldwin
Lockett
Richardson
Darboh
McEvoy
Kasen -
Like it our not, no way they're cutting Kearse.dnc said:I have them keeping six:

Yeah zero chance Kearse gets cut. Plus he's BFFs with RW and DB.

Chico role. I like the idea of it. The Seahawks need a Beasley or Edelman type for easy completions and yards.dnc said:

If Kearse didn't have guaranteed money I would agree. There isn't really a benefit to cutting him though.dnc said:I have them keeping six:

He has no guaranteed money left. They'd save some money by cutting him, though not a ton. The cap savings would be 366,666 for cutting him, since the prorated portion of his signing bonus for the next two years would accelerate onto the cap. But if you keep him and cut him after the season you're paying that on next year's cap, so cutting him now saves you next year.RoadDawg55 said:

The Hawks need a white receiver. One that's heady and always aware of where He's at on the field. -
