  I was there for the last Messican eclipse in 1991...well, OK it was San Diego but same difference. I can assure you that they are real and not Fake Mayan News.

  Starting Friday, Oregon's freeways will be officially gridlocked instead of just seeming that way. Luckily the weather looks to be cooperating. I'd hate to see what a couple hundred thousand or so visitors would do if they have to stare into the clouds and then have nowhere to go for quite awhile. Could be a lot like Autzen with say 3 minutes left in the game.
