    Dick Rod is a good coach. He invented an offense that is basically the staple of college football today, won a major conference multiple times, won a few major bowl games, and won a division title at a school that doesn't even know it has a football program.     Saying someone like Sark is a good coach who has never done anything is stupid. Rich Rod has a resume that dwarfs 90% of active coaches today in the NCAA. That is a good coach, period.

    He had a lot of fans. His record was as good as anyones. Did great as he worked his way up and got to the BCS his third year. Sound familiar?

    If we have learned anything its that great coaches are rare and there is no "formula" for predicting
