Another similar story I had a neighbor in Phoenix that was from a tribe on a Rez in Oklahoma. He had a house and everything there just waiting for him. I am a huge Sherman Alexie minion. Mostly because he hoops but also because his stories are good reads on the human condition. I never get the sense that he blames whitey for every shitty thing that has happened in his life - but acknowledges that whitey fucked the red man in the past and soldiers on. Life is fucking hard. Deal.
Plus he writes about shit like beating off and grabbing tits and other stuff that I like.
