The odds were in our favor but it was certainly not the Foregone conclusion that you no doubt seeped into the heads of limp wristed kids when you used to play Professor.

Thank him for his service.YellowSnow said:One of my 2 (grand) dads stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. However, he landed on Utah Beach instead of Omaha, which is can partially be attributed to him surviving the war; still got 2 Purple Hearts later on in France and Germany.
